Edith Ann Dickerhoof, 82 passed away December 10, 2018 at Heritage Pointe Communities of Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on May 16, 1936 to the late Elmer and Virginia Gutman, and has been a lifetime resident. Edith graduated from North Side High School in 1954. Edith was a devoted member of Brookside Community Church for many years and also volunteered at Hope Alive. She enjoyed gardening, swimming and attending Bible Studies, but her true passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Monty (Lynn) Dickerhoof: Debbie (Terry) Diller, Ginny (David) Diehl all of Fort Wayne, IN. grandsons Dustin Diller and Trent Diller, granddaughters Lauren Dickerhoof, Ansleigh Dickerhoof, Summer Dickerhoof, Briana Diehl and Caitlin Diehl, 5 great grandchildren and her brother Allen (Mary Ann) Gutman of Mount Vernon, OH. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Jack A. Dickerhoof, October 21, 2005. Service will be 1 pm Saturday, December 15, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN. with calling hours two hours prior. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
