Ronald "Ron" L. Grotrian

Ronald "Ron" L. Grotrian, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away on June 8, 2018. Ron was born to the late Delmer and Elisabeth Grotrian on January 11, 1951, in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Elmhurst High School. Ron retired from LH Carbide after 40 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Orchard Ridge Country Club. Ron is survived by his children, Kristen (Marc) Roney and Chad Grotrian; granddaughters, Kayla, Briana, and Olivia; and brothers, Paul (Barbara) Grotrian of Richardson, TX and Gary Grotrian of Agness, OR. Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in by death his wife, Sandra Grotrian. A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
