Ruth I. Geers

Ruth I. Geers, 100, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Greenup Co. Kentucky on August 27, 1919 to the late Jerry and Ruby (Gambil) Howerton. She married Robert Geers and he preceded her in death in 1989. Surviving are her daughter, Beverly (Kim) Stacey; son, Robbie (Ellen) Geers; grandchild, Christian “Chip” (Melissa) Stacey; great-grandchildren, Makora and Boden; and loving nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Stacey. Services will be private. Burial in Scioto Burial Park. Arrangements entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home.
