Steven A. Gamez

Steven A. Gamez, 63 of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away March 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was a born June 26, 1955 in East Chicago, Indiana to Jesse and Rosemary (Lorea) Gamez. Steven was retired as a chef from the St. Anne’s Nursing Home. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Braydin and Natalie, getting a good deal at the Thrift Stores, and spending time with his fur babies, Marlos and Brutus. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer, children, Stephen Jr., Selena, his step-children, Caila, Sabra, Corey, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, , and 3 brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Rosemary and by his sister, Elaine. Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 1 PM at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation there Friday, March 8, 2019 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Saturday one hour prior to the service.
