Maxine Fae Stoy Burch, age 85, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola, Indiana.
Maxine was born on April 15, 1933 in Branch County, Michigan and attended Bronson High School. She retired from Moore’s Business Forms in Angola.
Maxine married Paul Stoy on June 19, 1955 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1975. She later married Lawrence “Larry” Burch on July 3, 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Burch of Fremont, Indiana, five children, Neva Bojczuk (Gregory) of Baytown, Texas, Tim Stoy of Fremont Indiana, Faith Washington of Boca Raton, Florida, Chris (Laurie) Stoy of Angola, Indiana, and Courtney (Kelly) Stoy of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and two step-daughters, Diana Burch-Natier of Coldwater, Michigan, and Karen Ochampaugh of Waterbury, Vermont. In addition, 14 surviving grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Maxine was preceded in death by siblings Roy Woodcox, Ellen Smith, Emmett Woodcox, Virginia Wooster, Leo Woodcox, Wilbur Woodcox, Norma Jean Woodcox; daughter-in-law Nancy Stoy; and granddaughters Tarrys Washington and Tatiana Bojczuk.
A memorial visitation will take place at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Indiana on Saturday October 27th from 3-5pm.
Honoring her wishes for cremation, a private burial will take place at a later time at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
