Faye Marie Elledge

We are saddened to announce the passing of Faye Marie Elledge. Faye joined the Lord in heaven on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 with her family by her side. Faye was born in North Carolina on Dec. 28, 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Elledge, sister, Terry Whitford, and parents. Faye leaves in memory her son, Allen Elledge; daughter-in-law, Una Elledge; four grandchildren, Ashley (Elledge) Santoso, grandson-in-law, Teguh Santoso, Allen (AJ) Elledge, Alexis Elledge and Austin Elledge; brother; John (Buddy) Whitford; sister-in-law, Karen Whitford of Mississippi; and extended family.
Faye lived in Hampton, VA for over 70 years where she worked in the banking service for Crestar Bank for over 30 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Newport News, VA. Faye also volunteered at Liberty Baptist Church as a Grief Share counselor. Faye brought love, joy and happiness to all in her presence.
The Family will receive friends on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm at Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, VA with a Celebration of Life service to follow. Interment will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
