Rose Guenther Paiva 85, of Hampton, Virginia departed this life on Friday, November 20, 2020.
Rose Paiva was born February 20, 1935 in Hoechst, Germany to the late Anton and Maria Eva Guenther.
She worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and especially spending time with her family.
Rose was preceded in death by her first-born daughter, Linet. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ernesto; their five children, Dolores (Wayne), Marco, Marina, Ernie (Liz) and Linda (Rodney); Sisters, Trude (Marco) and Erna; grandchildren, Travis, Chris, Marc, Evan, Amari, Joshua and Gabriela, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rose never met a stranger and was always ready for a celebration. So, today and forever, we will celebrate the life and memory of our dear Rose!
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the Riverside Hospice team, Dr. McCormick and Dr. Livingstone, as well as many friends and neighbors for their acts of kindness, assistance and prayers during this difficult time.
