Alvin Lengacher

Alvin Lengacher, 83, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Born in Harlan, IN, has was a son of the late Aaron and Mary (Graber) Lengacher. Alvin was a farmer and a member of the Old Order of Amish. Surviving are his wife, Fannie Marie (Graber) Lengacher; sons, Aaron (Fern) Lengacher of Auburn, Jesse (Susan Marie) Lengacher of Spencerville, Alva (Lydiann) Lengacher of Harlan; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by siblings, Menno, Amy, John, Magalene, and Elmer. Funeral service will be held at 9am Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his son's home (15605 Raynor Road, Spencerville, IN) with visitation all day Monday and Tuesday. Bishop Dave Lengacher will officiate and burial will be in Harlan Amish Cemetery. Arrangements by Hockemeyer Funeral Home of Harlan.
