Robert L. "Whitey" Lothamer

Robert L. “Whitey” Lothamer, 81, of New Haven passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. He was born on April 16, 1941 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Raymond and Bernadette (Voirol) Lothamer. He worked at DANA for 30 years before retiring in 1995. Surviving family include his children, Christina (Ron) Doutt, Robert J. (Lisa) Lothamer, Brian Lothamer, and Frank Lothamer; brother, Richard (Kay) Lothamer; step-children, Fred Motley, Robert (Tammy) Motley; Jackie Motley, and Richard Motley; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Janet Lothamer; sister, Agnus Henry; and brothers, Joseph, Bernard, Eugene, Lawrence, Charles, and Herman Lothamer. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 IN-37, Harlan with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Diehl Cemetery, rural Woodburn.
