On Sunday, March 2nd, 2020, Beverly passed in peace at the age of 46. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Jay Parlor and her father, Lawrence L. Woods Sr of Highland, IN. Her siblings include five sisters Elizabeth (Ralph) Leyba of Crown Point, IN, Andie Brandon of Portage, IN, Tracy (Matt) Downing of Highland, IN, Chandi (Jason) Ratliff of Ligonier, IN, and Ashley (Terry) Roberts of Cromwell, IN, four brothers Lawrence (Lisa) Woods, Jr. of Rensselaer, IN, Randy (Sue) Woods of DeMotte, IN , Jake (Corinna) Turczi of North Webster, IN, and George Turczi lll of North Webster, IN and friend and caregiver, JR Parker. She had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins to whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Terri (Downing) Woods, mother-in-law, Delores (Douthett) Parlor, and brother-in-law Elmo Parlor.
Beverly’s passion was making crafts for the ones she loves, being there for her family and friends, and was known as the “crazy cat lady” for her love for her cats. Beverly always had a huge heart for animals and for her nieces and nephews. She was the babysitter of the family. She loved children and most of her working life was working in childcare. Beverly was a gentle soul and was always willing to help whenever she could to anyone around her. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday March 7, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN 219-923-7800
