Cathy S. Lahr

Cathy S. Lahr, 70 of Huntington passed away at 5:10 pm on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her residence. She worked as a nurse’s aide for several years. Cathy enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening bird watching and reading. She loved spending time with her family. She was born on June 30, 1949 in Crawford, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Edna (Tyner) DeHaven. Survivors include three daughters: Caprice (Scott) Harrold of Fort Wayne; Carrie Foor of Huntington; Clara (Juan) Bradford-Tello of Bluffton; her mother: Edna Newcome of Huntington and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father: Charles DeHaven; a brother: Richard DeHaven and a sister: Patricia Reynolds. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 following visitation at 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County. Memorial donations can be made out to Huntington Humane Society in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
