Louise A. “Suzie” Geyer, 81 of Huntington, passed away on Saturday evening March 2, 2024 at Hickory Creek in Huntington. Suzie loved to garden and grow things She was a great equestrian and she loved horses. Suzie had worked at Memcor in Huntington for over 30 years. She was a huge Colts and Notre Dame Fan.
Suzie was born on July 27, 1942 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Lowell and Dorothy (Hartley) Merriman.
She was united in marriage to Dave Geyer in August of 1959. Dave preceded her in death in 2001.
Survivors include four sons: Kris (Shellie) Geyer of Huntington, Kody Geyer of Huntington, Kip Geyer of Cedar Lake, IN, Kasey (Carrie) Geyer of Florida; a sister: Linda (Bruce) Gray of Tocsin; three grandchildren: Hartley Geyer, Seve Geyer, Bella Geyer and a great grandchild: Maryn Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother: Mike Merriman and two great grandsons: Milo and Maverick Brown.
There will be no public services.
Private family interment will be at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Huntington County.
Memorial donations can be made out to Donor’s Choice of Charity sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
