Beulah “Beatty” Thompson Andrick, 93, of Indianapolis went home to be with her Lord and Savior March 21, 2021. She was born May 12, 1927 in Henryville, Indiana to Albert and Bonnie (Ripperdan) Thompson. She was married 66 years to William E. Andrick. She was preceded in death by husband (William Andrick), Parents (Albert and Bonnie Thompson), son (Damon), brothers (Leo, Wilmer, Carl, Ted, and Dick), sisters (Ruby, Glady, and Olive) and son-in-laws (Samuel McCord and John Hawk). Beulah is survived by her daughters, Kimyon McCord, Vanessa Hawk, and son, Billy Andrick. Grandchildren, Lisa, Chris (Brendi), Matt (Tonya), Samuel David and Sarah. Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Jenna (the favorite), Kameron, Christian, and Kolton. She will also be survived by her lifelong friend Elydene Richardson and loving caregiver Allison. Beatty was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. After raising her children, she went on to finish high school and become an LPN for Marion General Hospital. She was an active member of The Daughters of the American Revolution for many years and was one of the founders of the Franklin Township chapter. She enjoyed working on genealogy and paved the way of our family trees. Beulah loved to travel and visited six other countries. Beatty was very crafty, she loved to sew, and designed many quilts, she also had her way with a crochet needle, and even owned her own ceramics shop. She really enjoyed playing Yahtzee, and could out roll anybody. Beatty also enjoyed doing puzzles and word searches in her free time. Beulah loved to sing church hymns and old songs with her grandchildren, and always had a cookie to share. She enjoyed taking silly photos with her family, and was a kindhearted Christian that read her bible every night before bed. Graveside services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family firmly believes Beatty would rather you make a contribution to Riley Children’s Hospital in the name of Beulah B. Andrick. Family requests that all CDC guidelines regarding masks and social distancing be strictly observed.
