Margaret M. Chrisp

Margaret Mary Chrisp was born on April 29, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Jessie and Lucille Tanner. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. The family moved to Jackson, Tennessee, where she met her husband-to-be, Wallace Chrisp II. Soon after marriage they moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. Margaret was a stay-at-home mother who enjoyed music, cooking, word search puzzles and raising her children. She also loved taking care of her grandchildren. Margaret was a very loving and caring person, as well as a supportive mother and grandmother. On August 13, 2020, Margaret passed away peacefully at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Chrisp II; and daughters, Marjorie and Naomi Chrisp. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Luther Chrisp (Betty), Wallace Chrisp III, Bruce Chrisp, and Gregory Chrisp. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
