Sharon Lynne New, age 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2018. Sharon was born September 13, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Rilla Maurine Grantham and Laymon Grantham. Sharon is survived by; son Robert New; sister-in-law Bobbietta New, sister Pat Lowdermilk and sister Billie Jo Fisher; granddaughter Samantha New, granddaughter Shelby New and grandson Justin (Karen) Strange. Sharon was preceded in death by; son Aronld "Buddy" New; father Laymon Grantham and mother Rilla Maurine Grantham; brother Doug Grantham; grandson Bobby New. A visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak, 1307 N Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM, 1307 N Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219.
