Willie Champ Murphy

Willie Champ Murphy, age 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Willie was born on December 27, 1944 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to Clyde and Pauline Murphy. He married Diane (Elliott) on March 1, 1968. Willie worked as a machinist and retired from General Devices in Indianapolis. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, bowling, hunting and gardening. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Willie is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Diane Murphy; daughters, Tina (Brad Morris) Murphy and Melissa Han; brothers, Donnie Murphy and Jerry Murphy; sister, Regina (Everett) Glandon; grandchildren, Cody Han, Katie Han, Kelly Han and Jake Morris; and many nieces and nephews. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Pauline Murphy; brother, Steve Murphy; and sister, Mae Murphy.
