Barbara Faye Bush, age 86 of Lynchburg, widow of Gary Allen Bush, passed away on January 16, 2021.
She was born in Campbell County on February 14, 1934, daughter of the late Oscar Duval St. Clair and the late Della Elizabeth Ferguson St. Clair.
Barbara was a Lifelong and dedicated member of Beulah Baptist Church. She took care of the church nursery for many years and was an excellent seamstress.
In addition to her husband Gary, she was preceded in death by a brother, Duval St. Clair and a brother in law, Preston Clark.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Donald W. Bush (Sharon) and Ricky A. Bush (Lisia); 3 granddaughters, Kelly Mays (Frankie), Lisa Lavender (Frank) and Braden Bush; 6 great grandchildren, Madison (Chase), Franklin, Jack, Faith, Lyniah, and Davion; a sister, Maxine Clark and a sister in law, Martha St. Clair.
Due to the COVID there will not be a formal visitation but friends may come by the Whitten Timberlake Chapel from 9-5 on Tuesday to pay their respects. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Springhill Cemetery with Dr. Dennis Hollandsworth officiating. The service will be live streamed on Facebook by going to www.Facebook.com/WhittenFuneralHome.
When attending services, please maintain social distancing and wear a mask for everyone’s safety. You are encouraged to post a memory, note, or words of condolence to the family by going to the funeral home website at www.whittentimberlake.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Beulah Baptist Church in Barbara’s memory.
