Hillery Lee Martin

Hillery Lee Martin, 89, of Lynchburg passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Fairmont Crossing. Born in Lynchburg, April 4, 1929, he was the son of the late Leonard Cleveland Martin and Vassie Pearl Bagby Martin. Hillery was a local furniture maker, a US Army veteran and was a member of Fairview Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Iris M. New and two brothers, Lloyd martin and Leonard Lewis Martin. He is survived by his nephew Ray M. New, Jr. and his wife Gray. A graveside service will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday, July 23, 2018 at Spring Hill Cemetery with his nephew Ray New officiating.
