Johnnie Jadene Snow

Johnnie Jadene Snow, age 89, of Lynchburg passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was born in Lynchburg on December 7, 1931, son of the late John William Snow and the late Elsie A. Snow. Johnnie was retired from the Lynchburg Foundry. He loved old western movies and dancing with his beloved wife, Shirley. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching TV. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Shirley R. Snow and a sister, Laverne “Footsie” Tweedy. Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Hall (Kevin) and a son, Greg Snow and (Patti). He is also survived by three grandchildren, Hannah Angel, Christie Snow and Bailey Hall (Jasmine). A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN 38105 in Johnnie’s memory.
