Bonita Louise Plum, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Bonita was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Wednesday, February 14, 1945, the daughter of Ralph Wilson and Idabelle (Chase) Wilson. She married David Plum in Muncie, Indiana in January of 1965, and he preceded her in death in 2018. Bonita was an Admissions Specialist at Ball State University for many years. She loved collecting cookie jars, liked to golf, loved spending time with her family, and loved attending church at East Jackson Street Church of God. Bonita was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey (Wendy) Plum; daughter, Tamula (Bobby) Hickey; sisters, Sandra Ailes, Rita Hough, Diana (Stephen) Jenkins, and Jane Plum; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Idabelle Wilson; husband, David; and brothers-in-law, Ronald Plum, Max Ailes, and Frank Hough.
Services will be held for Bonita at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
