Joan I. True

Joan I. True, 96, Muncie, passed away Friday morning, September 23, 2022, at Westminster Village. She was born Thursday, November 19, 1925, in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the daughter of Minot and Louise (Prescott) Inman. Joan enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles, scrap-booking, and collecting antiques. She was a “pink lady” volunteer at I U Health Ball Memorial Hospital, and she was a homemaker. Her memberships include the High Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Janet (husband, Tim) Kirkpatrick; two grandsons, Eben (wife, Karen) True, and Bill (wife, Lindsay) True; five great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Debbie True. Her parents, Minot and Louise Inman; her husband, Walter True; her son, Gary True; and a daughter, Susan True, preceded her in death A Memorial Open House will be held at Westminster Village from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Walter, at a later date in Vermont. Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
