Carl R. Anderson

Carl R. Anderson, 78, of Floyds Knobs and Sanibel Island, FL, died Friday, September 3, 2010. He was a 1950 graduate of N.A. H.S. and a member of DePauw United Methodist Church. Carl retired from Phillip Morris after 32 years and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Cara Lynn Rhoads Anderson; and his parents, Hazel and Frank Anderson. Survivors include his children, Becky Schecodnic (Gary), Tim Anderson (Dianna) and Stacey Freibert (Jeff); nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Ivan Anderson; and sister, Barbara James (Tommy). His funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
