Linda Joy Shunk

Linda Joy Shunk, 72, of Newburgh passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born October 30, 1948 in Evansville to the late Jim and Mary Ruth (Catron) Jerls. She worked in payroll at Casino Aztar and then worked for over 10 years at Berry Global in their payroll department. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing Clabber. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Lee Shunk in 2017. She is survived by daughter, Melissa Rose (Steven) of Newburgh; son, Brian Shunk (Gladys) of Evansville; six grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Paula Smith (Les) of Evansville; 2 nieces, and 1 nephew. No public services will be held.
