Clarence Albert Garrison

Norfolk – Clarence Albert Garrison, 55, passed away at home on November 11, 2010 with his loving family by his side after a long battle with liver disease. He was born on June 30, 1955 to Albert H. Garrison and Jeanne D. Hard Wadkins in Norfolk, VA. His mother precedes him in death. Clarence was a loving husband, son and brother, and a friend to everyone who knew him. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Sonya R. Garrison of Norfolk, VA; daughters, Catherine Roache and John of Chesapeake, VA; Cynthia Roache and David of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Michael Phelps and Debbie of Thailand; Steven Garrison and Sheri of Chesapeake, VA; sisters, Becky Meadows and Randy of Point Harbor, NC; Marie Mason and Bobby of Kitty Hawk, NC. He is also survived by five grand children and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Clarence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, 818 Norview Ave., Norfolk, VA. A reception will follow at funeral home.
