Norman Bernard Herzing

Norman B. Herzing, 67, born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, September 6, 1948. He was a graduate of Granby High School. Norman joined the U.S. Army with service in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970, awarded a Bronze Star medal. He retired from Civil Service, Norfolk Naval Supply Center and was self-employed as a courier with East Coat Courier Company. Norman was preceded in death by his father, Paul Albert Herzing; mother, Geraldine Louise Herzing and sister, Carol Ann Bridges. Norman has a daughter, Leann Herzing of Midland, Texas; four brothers, Richard Herzing, Paul and Kathryn Herzing, Michael Herzing and Scott Herzing; two nieces, Megan Gilmartin and Amy Nicole Herzing; four nephews, David Herzing, Scott Herzing, Brian Herzing and Mathew Herzing. There will be a visitation, from 6-8pm, Monday evening at Smith and Williams Norfolk Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 10am, Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with burial immediately following at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
