 Obituario de Lucille Kansas Simerman
Lucille Kansas Simerman, 98, of Bluffton, formerly of the Ossian area, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at River Terrace, Bluffton, IN. Lucille was born August 7, 1920 in Poe, IN to the late Wayne and Rose (Wilson) Smith. She owned and operated the Poe Florist in Poe, IN and then House of Flowers in Ossian, IN. She was an active member of Ossian United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Lucille served as piano and organ player as well as directing the choir at the church in past years. She had worked as a volunteer at the Embassy Theater and loved to travel with her family, having traveled many places throughout the world. She had many interests and especially enjoyed gardening and quilting. Surviving are her children, David (Judith) Simerman of Fort Wayne, Judy (Gene) Park of Ossian, and Lew (Mona) Simerman of Ossian; 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Simerman in 1991. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Ossian United Methodist Church, 201 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Preferred Memorials may be made to the Ossian United Methodist Church in memory of Lucille.
