Jeffrey S. Swager

Jeffrey Scott Swager, son of Mr. David K. Swager and Marie H. Smook (Ted) passed away on 9/11/2021 in Charleston, South Carolina. Jeff is survived by his siblings, Kimberly S. Taylor (Carper), John (Tim) Smook (Martha), Ella R. Swager and Lucas Swager. Left behind to cherish his memory are his best friend and life partner, Christa Polinsky, his grandmothers, Ruth Coffey, and Jessie Hathaway, nephew Trey Taylor, nieces, Paige Taylor, and Nora Smook and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, October 29th at 11:00 am at Woody Funeral Home Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. Family will receive friends at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, 5211 W. Broad Street, Suite 100, Richmond, VA 23230, or the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23220 in honor of Jeff's two rescue dogs, River and Ranger.
