Lloyd Albert Meador, Jr.

Lloyd Albert Meador, Jr., 90, of Henrico, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. He was a retired forklift operator and truck driver for Southern Biscuit Co. with 42 years of service and was a member of Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 ½ years, Lenore F. Meador. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy M. Tatum (Tom) and Susie L. Meador; three grandchildren, Erin Hurt (Mike), Amber Cox (Eric) and Brandy Meador; three great-grandchildren, Jakson Tatum, Samantha Cox and Saylor Hurt; brother, Franklin R. Meador; and a large family and close circle of loving friends. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
