Patricia Ann Denby

DENBY, Patricia Ann, 78, of Glen Allen, Va., gained her heavenly angel wings on Friday, December 8, 2017. Pat was a devoted wife to her husband of 58 years, Berkley “Nooney” Denby. Also left to cherish her beautiful memory are her children, Sherri Denby Lutz, Tommy Denby (Sherry), Chris Denby (Nancy Covington), Terri Denby (Fred Cain); and a special niece, Kim Self Estep. Missing their beloved “Nanny” are her grandchildren, Charles “C.E.” Lutz, Kristen Lutz Bond, Christopher Denby, Jake Denby, Grace Denby, Amanda Cain; and her great-granddaughter, Madyson Bond. Also surviving her are a nephew, George Self; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Olta McCarthy; sister, Joan Self; and son-in-law, Charles “Skeeter” Lutz. A bookkeeper by trade, Pat loved finding treasures at yard sales, growing beautiful flowers in her yard and “running the roads,” as her husband always called it. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, at Woody Funeral Home-Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23229, where her funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jim Booth, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 14. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
