Alice Virginia Comer

Alice Virginia Comer, 91, of Shenandoah passed away at her home on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was born on June 15, 1924 in Shenandoah and was the daughter of the late Ada Comer. Alice retired from Sentara-RMH, formerly known as Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where she worked as an aide. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Conservative Congressional Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Roger L. “Cotton” Comer of Shenandoah. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Comer; and a sister, Nance Whiteside. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Shenandoah, with Rev. James Martin officiating.
