Jerre Wayne Hale

Jerre Wayne Hale, of Stafford, Virginia passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Alex Hale (Lee Ann McGovern); daughter, Emily Bagshaw and son in law Alex Bagshaw. Jerre worked at George Mason University for 25 years. He enjoyed playing basketball during lunch breaks, was an avid tennis player and occasional golfer. Jerre loved fishing in his little John Boat but never caught many fish. The neighborhood boys (Alex’s friends) gave Jerre the nickname “J-Rock” which would stick for life. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be private.
