Judy Lejeune Guy, 91, of Stafford passed away at her home on Sunday, February 24, 2019.
Ms. Guy was born in Maastricht, Holland on January 1, 1928. She came to the United States as a WWII bride after surviving the horrors of bombings and the war. She married William Guy on March 27, 1945 in Maastricht and entered the U.S. through Ellis Island and subsequently became a U.S. Citizen in the 1960's. She retired from G.E. and worked for Stafford County Public School.
She is survived by her 4 children, Pat Hyatt, Donald Guy, Diana Davison, and Weedon (PeeWee) Guy; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Kitty Lejeune of Maastricht.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park. Pall bearers will be David Guy, Chuck Hyatt, Jason Snellings, Ronnie Watts, Brian Guy, and Nick Cinco.
The family would like to thank Medi Home Health & Hospice for all of the outstanding care and compassion given to our mother.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
