Doris Marie Daughtry

Doris Marie Daughtry, 85, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. She was born November 7, 1932, a daughter of the late Leroy and Margie Marie (McCauley) Ruppel. Doris retired from the General Electric Company and was a member of Stuarts Draft Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Leroy and Bobby Ruppel. Survivors include her husband, Conley Daughtry; three sons, Donnie Stinnett and wife, Cathy of Lynchburg, Greg Daughtry and wife, Sue of Greenville, Kevin Daughtry and wife, Tamara of Waynesboro; daughter, Carolyn Krause and husband, Ralph of Lakewood, Florida; as well as a number of grand and great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2018 at White Hill Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Dr. William Kopp officiating. Active pallbearers will be Gary Carter, Derek Carter, Zack Carter, Randy Siron, Caleb Siron, Jacob Siron and Ben Siron. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
