DeLoris Maxine Beasley

DeLoris Maxine Beasley, 81, of Terre Haute passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Union Hospital. She was born on April 24, 1938, in Terre Haute to Charles Franklin and June DeLoris (Miller) Smith. DeLoris is survived by her sons, Terry Cotten and Christopher Stephenson, both of Terre Haute; granddaughter, Keyaira Calhoun of Terre Haute; brother, Charles E. Smith of Rapid City, SD; and nieces, Cheryll Wallace of Plattsmouth, NE; Vicki Brewer of Minneapolis, MN; and Kathie Smith of Brownsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Loren Beasley. DeLoris overcame polio at a young age. Despite her small stature, she was a spitfire. Full of spunk and determination, she devoted her life to raising her two sons. DeLoris was blessed with artistic talent and enjoyed painting and drawing. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother and a kind-hearted person. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 in Roselawn Memorial Park.
