Jerry Lee Michael

Jerry Lee Michael passed away at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Union Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret (Jones) Michael; and brothers, Robert, John Jr. and Jim. He is survived by his brother, Moody Michael; nephews, Moody L. Michael, Dan Michael and wife Susan, Steve Michael and wife Patti, Jeff Michael and companion Belinda and Ronnie Michael; nieces, Kim Jones, Susie Sheehan, Margaret Barrett and husband Mike, Cheryl Hale and husband Dave, and Debbie, Chris, Jamie and Kathy; and his beloved dog, "Barney". He was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. Jerry was retired from The Terre Haute Tribune Newspaper and also he worked for the Vigo County School Corporation. Special thanks to Jerry's wonderful friends, Johnny and Cary. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattox-Wood Funeral Home.
