Shirley M Moyer

Shirley M. Moyer, 65, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 in her home. She was born December 13, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Dube and Norma Czajikowski. Shirley was the former Executive Director for the American Cancer Society of the Wabash Valley and had formerly worked for CODA. She was a long time volunteer with Community Theatre of Terre Haute, participating in many productions in front of and behind the scenes. She also volunteered with CODA and was known for her generosity, always making time for help her family, friends and anyone in need. Shirley was a graduate of the Lidecker Institute and attended Indiana University. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob Dube. She is survived by her son, Thom Moyer and his wife, Nicole of Seelyville; her daughters, Debbie Moyer Virostko and her husband, Steve of Rosedale, Wendy Napier of Kalamazoo, MI, Denise Moyer Stone and her husband, Bob of Terre Haute, Dawnn Askren and her husband, Larry and Darcey Perin, all of Bloomington. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Dube of Terre Haute; and eleven grandchildren, Robby, Nicole, Bobby, Ali, Misty, Stormi, Keagan, Kelsey, Sam, Matthew and Natalie; and six great grandchildren, Peyton, Landon, Aubra, Annabelle, Owen, Lorelai and Zoey. Services will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 1:00 at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804. Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Earl McClelland will be officiating. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
