Winifred Armentrout Foley

Winifred Armentrout Foley, 91, of Harrisonburg passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at White Birch Estates. She was born in Augusta County on December 2, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Alma Root Reed. Winifred graduated from Mt. Sidney High School and was a life time member of Salem Lutheran Church. Before retiring she was employed with C & P Telephone Company of Staunton. She is survived by a sister, Colleen R. Long and husband, Curtis L. Long of Rockingham, VA. She was preceded in death by two husbands Walter “Bud” Armentrout and Harold Lee Foley. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Salem Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating.
