Ernest Lee Grymes

Ernest “Ernie” Grymes of Sarasota passed away on April 29, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Logan, WV. Ernie was preceded in death by his loving wife LaWanna Grymes, who passed away on September 19, 2019. He is survived by his sons; Rick Grymes (Elizabeth), Bryan Grymes (Donna) and Billy Grymes; and six grandchildren, Ian, Gavin, Maggie, Aaron, Stevie and Kyle. Ernie was a naval veteran. Upon leaving the Navy, he worked 18 years with Goodyear followed by a lengthy tenure with Anheuser-Busch until his retirement. A special thanks to our cousins Roger and Vickie Bryan for all their help during our father’s illness. A service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 14th, 2021 at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Dr, Williamsburg.
