Olive Collar Mulligan

Mulligan, Olive Collar passed away peacefully at her home on March 30th, 2020, days away from her 90th birthday. Olive was an elementary school teacher early in her career, teaching at Jamestown Academy, among other schools. Later in life, she took pleasure in volunteering as an E2L instructor in Williamsburg. She also worked alongside her husband, Corry Mulligan, in their business Better Buy Builder Supply on Ironbound Rd. Olive loved to paint, was a voracious reader, and pampered many dogs and cats during her years. Olive was predeceased by a son, Bob Mulligan; and her husband, J. Corry Mulligan. She is survived by a son, Christopher; and 3 grandsons, Sean, Corry, and Colin Mulligan. As Olive outlived most of her friends and many family members, she chose not to have a local ceremony or funeral. She will be buried in her very serene and beautiful hometown of Castine, Maine, alongside her husband. If you would like to donate in her honor, two of her favorite causes were Riverside Hospice, through the Riverside Foundation, and the Heritage Humane society in Williamsburg.
