Sandra Govlick

Sandra “Sandy” Govlick passed away on February 1, 2023. Sandy was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and spent 24 years in Bridgewater, NJ, before she and her husband moved to Williamsburg 25 years ago. Sandy worked as an executive secretary for Johnson & Johnson. She enjoyed golf, bridge, reading, and her book club. She was a member of the Ford's Colony Ladies' Golf Association. She spent much of her spare time volunteering at St. Bede Catholic Church, Sentara, and for 19 ½ years at Colonial Williamsburg. She will be missed by her husband of 63 years, George A. Govlick, and her stepbrother, David Palmowski of Pottsville, PA. A Mass will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd., WIlliamsburg, VA.
