

DENT, GRAHAM CALMAN, age 30, of Anniston, AL, died on February 7, 2015, at his residence. Graham was born in Birmingham, AL, on April 28, 1984, and had been a resident of Anniston for the past four years. He was a 2003 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School, attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and was employed at Cracker Barrel. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother Leota Gomillion, his paternal great-grandmother Beatrice Calman Ervin, his paternal grandparents James and Ann Lindsey Dent and George and Madelyn Poole, and his maternal grandfather James Gomillion. He is survived by his fiancée Charisma Holloway; parents Douglas Dent and Dianne Dent; sister Andrea Northen (Bryce); brother John Dent (Michelle); maternal grandmother Mildred Gomillion; nieces Jo, Ella, and Daisy; nephews Jackson, Emmett, Harrison, and Reid; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graham loved his family and friends and he was a loyal friend to others. His kind heart and fun-loving manner drew people to him. Graham was gifted in music, athletic ability, and writing, and enjoyed aquariums and building garden ponds. He was diligent, determined, and always positive in attitude. Graham will be truly missed, but lovingly remembered, for being the special young man that he was. A memorial service celebrating Graham’s life will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 West 52nd Street, Anniston, AL, with Chaplain Franklin McGee officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday. Rather than flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Big Oak Ranch, P. O.
