He was born on October 18th,1922, the youngest son of 6 brothers born from parents of the Italian decent. He grew up working on his families farm in the Greater Houston Heights where he later became a salesman in the fruits and vegetables market. In 1942 at the age of 20 he joined the military and became an a Army Corporal with the 09th Tactical Air Command Reconnaissance Squadron who served overseas in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland & Central Europe. His generation would later become recognized as the "Greatest Generation" because they lived through the great depression and many fought in WWII.

He eventually retired from Kroger Grocery Store after many years as a produce manager. He took a sales job in the insurance business for a few years but decided to fully retire to stay home with family & grandkids.
Even with his serious medical conditions it had not stopped him from enjoying his life and staying active doing the things he loved, such as garage selling with his neighbor, going out dancing with whomever he can, antiquing with his daughter & son-n-law, bowling with his team at Delmar Lanes, playing dominoes with friends & family, playing slot machines, watching the Astros & Texans & loved traveling around Texas with his children & grandchildren. His motto in life was "I am not dead yet", which he was determined to spend the rest of his life with family & making many memories.
