Stephone Leandrow Lesure

Stephone Lesure was born in Sikeston, Missouri, to LularMae Hellen Lesure and Paul Yaber, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Lesure and Nora Lesure, along with several aunts and uncles.

As a child, Stephone attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a Boy Scout, loved school, and was always known for his kind heart, great sense of humor, and the smile that could brighten any room.

I first met Stephone in 2005, and we started dating in 2007. From the beginning, he believed in me more than I believed in myself. In 2012, we moved in together while I was working toward my master's degree. Every day, he drove me to school without ever complaining. He supported my education, encouraged me to keep going, and celebrated every milestone with me. Looking back, I realize how much of my success was possible because he was always beside me.

As our life together grew, so did our dreams. We became not only husband and wife, but also business partners. Together, we built egg donor agency from the ground up. We spent countless hours talking about our vision and how we could make the agency better. We were always sharing ideas, improving our process, and finding ways to provide better care and better service for the families who trusted us. Helping people build their families wasn't just our work—it was something we truly cared about. Working alongside Stephone was one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I will continue the mission we started together.

On November 10, 2016, we were married. Together we built the life we had always hoped for. In 2017, we welcomed our son, Jaiden, and in 2020, our daughter, Jailean. Being a husband and father was what made Stephone happiest. He loved spending time with his children, making them laugh, teaching them new things, and being there for every little moment.

Anyone who knew Stephone knew he always put his family first. He made sure his wife and kids had everything they needed before thinking about himself. That was simply who he was.

Stephone was the kind of person who always wanted to help. He genuinely wanted the people around him to do well in life. Whether it was family, friends, coworkers, clients, or even someone he had just met, he would do whatever he could to help. He expected nothing in return. He was always smiling, always positive, and always trying to make someone else's day a little better. He believed that if he had the ability to help someone, he should.

He leaves to cherish his memories Xiaobo Lesure and Jaiden and Jailean and 3 brothers Steven Lesure of Virginia Stanley Lesure and Lagunda Lesure, Masako Lesure,  1 sister Lavett Williams all of Oceanside, California 2 aunts Brenda Mccampbell of Indiana, Gloria Lesure 1 uncle Allen K. Lesure of Wisconsin and his godmother Elvalen Brown of Missouri several niece's and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Stephone's life was filled with love, kindness, laughter, and generosity. He leaves behind countless memories that will stay with us forever. We will miss his smile, his hugs, his encouragement, and the way he always made us feel safe and loved.

We love you, Stephone. Thank you for being an amazing husband, father, son, brother, friend, and partner. Your love, your kindness, and the life we built together will stay with us forever.
