Marjorie M. McKessor

On July 5, 2021, Margie M. McKessor of Arlington, Virginia, passed away in her sleep at the age of 79. Margie was born on August 8, 1941 in Glace, West Virginia to Robert Dixon Bostic and Mary Elizabeth Feudy. She moved to the Washington, D.C. area in the 1960’s and worked for many years as a cosmetologist and hair dresser. She sometimes commented that she had worked cutting hair for members of Congress, but she would not say which ones! She was a faithful member of the Church of God and was often serving during the weekly sabbath and annual holy days. She is survived by a niece, Evelyn, and several nephews. A public memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 11 at 11:00 am at the Murphy Funeral Home at 4510 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia.
