Obituary of Jean Love Schnarr
JEAN LOVE SCHNARR On July 13, 2021, while surrounded by family in Seneca, IL, the Lord called Jean home to Him in heaven! Born on April 28, 1935 in Upper Darby, PA to William Love and Jeannie Steward Love, Jean was 86 years old when she went to be with the Lord. Jean Love married Donald Allan Schnarr on April 26, 1957. Mrs. Schnarr was also a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Bible in 1957, which she attended with her husband Don. During high school, Jean actively attended a club called the Bible Buzzards. As she became a pastor’s wife, she was active in the church, doing everything from secretary to cleaning to driving the school bus so her children and others would have a Christian education. Preceding Jean in death were her parents, William and Jeannie, her beloved husband Donald and 2 granddaughters. Surviving Jean are her four children: Daniel (and wife Valerie) of Peninsula, OH; David (and wife Michelle) of Fort Rucker, AL; Donn (and wife Sherry) of Lynchburg, VA; and Denee (and husband Joel) of Seneca, IL. Also surviving is Jean’s sister Eileen Mitchell of Los Angeles. Jean has also been blessed with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Schnarr loved her Savior and her family. She would do anything for either. She touched many lives with her humble spirit and by her Spirit-filled life. Until the day she died, Jean lived life full of life. She would want everyone to know the best decision she ever made was accepting that Jesus died on the cross for her sins so one day she could go on to heaven to be with her LORD and Savior and her true earthly love Donald. By asking Jesus into your heart, asking forgiveness, and accepting His sacrifice for your sins, you can have that assurance, too! ” The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:45 pm on Monday July 19, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
