Tim Scheerer

Timothy “Tim” Scheerer, 69 of Huntington passed away on August 18, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Tim was a 1971 graduate of Huntington North High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He farmed in Huntington County for over 40 years. Tim was co-owner of Scheerer-McCulloch Auctioneers since 2008 and was an auctioneer for over 30 years. He was an avid collector and he also enjoyed IU Basketball and the New York Yankees. Tim enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids, fishing and going to Florida. He was a loving husband, dad, papa, friend and all around great person. Tim was born on April 30, 1952 in Huntington, the son of the late Jack and Lula (Tillotson) Scheerer. He was united in marriage to Chris Frame on November 23, 1985 in Roanoke, Indiana. Chris survives. Additional survivors include three sons: Cody Scheerer of Huntington, Zack (Christina) Steele of Louisville, KY, Chadd (Teresa) Steele of Owensboro, KY; a sister: Dianne Kugler of Georgia; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son: Ryan Scheerer. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
