Delores Blanche Goode

Delores Blanche Goode, 91, previously from Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Goode, her daughter, Terry G. Miller and her parents, Arthur & Sarah Brady. She is survived by her daughter Gloria McLoud, sons Paul Dawn, Russell Wakefield, Earl (Tim) Goode (Ashley) and Kevin Goode (Cheryl). She has 17 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces that were loved by her so much. She has 3 brothers and 8 sisters. In her earlier years, Delores owned and operated a Christian bookstore, “Alpha & Omega”; she was a skilled artisan crocheting everything from Christmas ornaments to afghans for her family. She was a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold. She loved having her family around her [as well as her favorite candies]. Her pies were made from scratch - no one could hold a candle to her lemon meringue, chocolate or pecan pies; her children have fond memories of her allowing them all to lick the batter from the bowl & spoon. She prayed each night until the wee hours of the morning: She loved our Lord and Savior. She will be dearly missed by all. Heaven gained an Angel.
