Marie Thompson French, 89 of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, October 7th, 2021. Marie loved painting, playing games, gardening and being with her 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was born on July 3rd, 1932, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Aaron and Sallie Thompson. Preceded in death by her 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Marie is survived by her 7 loving children: Joe (Peggy) French, Sam (Pam) French, Leanne (Troy) Briner, Mike (Tammy) French, Jenny (David) Hellman, Cheryl (Brian) Bonnet and Tim (Julie) French. 16 Grandchildren: Mike (Brandi) French, Cory (Erica) French, Nick (Michelle) French; Erin (Mark) Spencer, Staci (Todd) Balmer; Jeremy Dixon, Kari (Nick) Flaherty, Haley Joyce; Garrett (Lydia) French; Beth (Robert) Lowe, Justin (Rachel) Miles, Alex Miles; Sarah (Josh) Wilmes, Emily (Brian) Jones; Rollins French, McCallister French. 30 Great-grandchildren: Ethan, Dylan, Declan, Bailee, Callie, Avery, Mark, Chase, Brianna, Talon, Whitley, Landon, Miles, Lillian, Waylan, Presley, Beckett, Grace, David, Chloe, Brooke, Miley, Lucas, Lainey, Nolan, Nash, Navy, Aubri, Hank, Bryson with her 31st on the way, Theo. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the funeral home with private entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
