Ronnie William Tidd

Ronnie William Tidd, 68, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Sunday July 4, 2021 at Augusta Health.
Mr. Tidd was born on December 25, 1952 in Charlottesville, and was a son of the late Charles Franklin Tidd and the surviving Rosie June (Bowen) Tidd.
He worked for Agway in Carlisle, PA as an HVAC Technician for many years prior to his retirement. Ronnie enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the Indian Powwows and spending time with his family. He was quite a character and was always telling jokes, and was a hard worker. Mr. Tidd was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Victor Tidd and fiancé Amy Fisher of Newville, PA, Rebecca “Becky” Tidd and fiancé Christopher Schock of Carlisle, PA; siblings, Wayne Tidd and wife Chun of Newport News, VA, Lorraine Patterson of Verona, Tommy Tidd of Stuarts Draft, Lisa Benson and husband Robbie of Vesuvius, Alvin Tidd and wife Leigh Ann of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Kody Tidd, Colton Tidd, Sierra Wrightstone, Jaylinn Fisher, Kayden Tidd; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday July 9, 2021 at 2 PM at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Veterans Charity of your choice.
