Robert Alan Wright

Robert Alan Wright of Henderson, KY, born on January 11, 1955 went home with a broken heart in the early hours on Thursday, October 1, 2020. He waited at the gate for his mom Peggy Rickard who passed just hours later. Bob was an Army Veteran, proudly serving the country he loved so much. He drove Semi’s for many years and saw most of the country from the seat of his truck. His family meant everything to him, and he will be forever missed. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Leon Wright; stepfather, Jim Rickard; sister, Cheryl Whitney; brothers, Gary Wright, Steve Rickard; grandson, Dakota Joseph Fisher. He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Weil (Lee); son, Jason Wright (Mandy); sister, Debbie Stapleton (Donald); grandchildren, Alysha Camp, Vaughn Fisher, Jasmyne Wright; great grandchildren, Malayah Price, Xander Eaton, Dean Eaton, Isabelle Bonham. A Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel, with a service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW.
